We are a loose group of local hikers of all ages and conditions who love to roam outdoors together for fun and adventure.

Hiking provides great physical exercise. It’s an excellent form of cardio exercise that can improve cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles, and boost endurance.
Hiking provides mental health benefits. Being in nature and away from the stresses of daily life can improve mood, reduce anxiety and depression, and boost overall mental well-being.
Hiking is a connection to nature. It provides an opportunity to connect with nature, appreciate its beauty, and develop a deeper sense of respect and appreciation for the environment.
Hiking provides a sense of accomplishment. As you push yourself to reach new heights and overcome challenges, you feel elated that you made it to the top and back to your car.
Hiking is great for socializing. It’s a great way to bond with friends and family or meet new people with similar interests.
Hiking is cost effective. It’s a relatively low cost activity compared to other forms of exercise and entertainment, as it only requires appropriate clothing, footwear, and a small fee for gas when you carpool.
